Companionship & Homemaking
$35/hour starting
Meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errand assistance, and engaging companionship.
Personal Care Assistance
$38/hour starting
All companionship services, plus hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transferring, and incontinence care.
Specialized & Memory Care
$42/hour starting
Care customized for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or Parkinson's, as well as short-term respite relief for family caregivers.
Short shifts
To attract and retain top-tier caregivers, we generally require a minimum of 4 hours per shift. If your family requires shorter check-in visits (for example, a 2-hour morning routine), these are billed at a higher premium rate or a flat per-visit fee to compensate the caregiver fairly for their travel and time.
Factors that may adjust your rate
Because we tailor our care to your family's specific needs and comply strictly with California labor laws, certain situations may affect your final hourly or shift rate. We always discuss these openly during your free assessment — you'll never see a surprise charge on your invoice.
Couples Care
When a caregiver assists two individuals in the same home, a modest supplemental fee (typically $10–$15/hour) is added to reflect the added responsibility and coordination.
Location-Based Adjustments
Certain premium locations have different pricing to pay caregivers a competitive wage for that specific market.
Major Holidays
Services provided on major state and federal holidays are billed at time-and-a-half — caregivers sacrifice time with their own families to be with yours.
Transportation & Mileage
When a caregiver uses their personal vehicle for appointments or errands, the standard IRS mileage reimbursement rate (72.5¢/mile for 2026) is added to cover fuel and wear-and-tear.
High-Acuity Needs
Significant physical assistance (two-person transfers, mechanical lifts) or advanced behavioral support for Alzheimer's or dementia is reflected in the rate.
